Tahr is an animal with a long “lion like” mane which blows in the wind. The blowing of the mane is a beautiful sight. The moment Tahr is chased for hunting they use their climbing abilities to escape from the hunter.
Tahr is a short legged animal with a small head. They have large eyes and small pointed ears. The rubbery core in the hooves allows them to grip on the rocks. Male Tahr is larger in size and they have a horn structure. They can live for about 14 years.
